ComfortDelGro is a multi-national transportation company that focuses solely on land-based transportation. ComfortDelGro’s businesses, which it operates through its global subsidiaries, include bus, taxi, rail, car rental and leasing, automotive engineering services, inspection and testing services, driving centres, non-emergency patient transport services, insurance broking services and outdoor advertising.

ComfortDelGro was formed on 29 March 2003 through the merger of two land transport companies - Comfort Group and DelGro Corporation.

ComfortDelGro’s operations currently extend from Singapore, to the United Kingdom and Ireland, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia, as well as across 11 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang and Chengdu.

ComfortDelGro is listed on the Singapore Exchange under the code C52.

In each of the countries ComfortDelGro operates in, it provides a varying degree of the following services.

Public transport services - ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited is a provider of public transport services (bus and rail) in various geographies. For the year end 31 December 2019, the public transport segment accounted for 73.72% (SGD 2,879.2 million) of total revenue.

Taxi - In the year end December 31, 2018, the taxi segment accounted for 17.12% (SGD 668.6 million) of total revenue.

Automotive engineering services - For the year end 31 December 2019, the automotive engineering services segment accounted for 4.07% (SGD 159.1 million) of total revenue.

Inspection and testing services - For the year end 31 December 2019, the inspection and testing services segment accounted for 2.58% (SGD 100.9 million) of total revenue.

Driver centre - For the year end 31 December 2019, the driver centre segment accounted for 1.23% (SGD 48.1 million) of total revenue.

Car rental and leasing - For the year end 31 December 2019, the car rental and leasing segment accounted for 0.72% (SGD 28.0 million) of total revenue.
