Raffles Medical Group Ltd (Raffles) is an integrated private healthcare provider in Asia. Raffles operates medical facilities in 14 cities in Singapore, China, Japan, Vietnam and Cambodia. It is the only private medical provider in Singapore that owns and operates a fully integrated healthcare organisation comprising a tertiary hospital, a network of family medicine and dental clinics, insurance services, Japanese and Traditional Chinese Medicine clinics, and a consumer healthcare division.

The company was founded in 1976 in Singapore, and now serves over 2 million patients and 7,000 corporate clients each year. RMG has a staff strength of more than 2,538 (2018), including approximately 400 physicians.

Raffles generates the majority (88.19% [SGD 462.2 million] for the year end 31 December 2019) of its revenue in Singapore. Raffles also generated 8.15% (SGD 40.0 million) of its revenue for the financial year end 31 December 2019 in China. The company has representative offices in Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei and Bangladesh, as well as associates throughout the Asia-Pacific region, which for the financial year end 31 December 2019, collectively accounted for 3.67% (SGD 19.8 million) in revenue.

Operating Segments:

Hospital services - The hospital services segment provides specialised medical services and undertakes the operation of hospitals, medical laboratories and imaging centres. For the the financial year end 31 December 2019, the hospital services segment accounted for 54.45% (SGD 279.7 million) of total revenue.

Healthcare services - The healthcare services segment undertakes the operations of medical clinics and other general medical services; provision of health insurance, trading in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products and diagnostic equipment, and provision of management and consultancy services. For the the financial year end 31 December 2019, the healthcare services segment accounted for 44.13% (SGD 234.9 million) of total revenue.

Investment holdings - The investment holding segment undertakes investment holdings and services relating to investment properties. For the the financial year end 31 December 2019, the investment holdings segment accounted for 1.42% (SGD 7.5 million) of total revenue.
