Tesla Inc (Tesla) is an electric vehicle manufacturer that designs, develops, manufactures and sells fully electric vehicles and solar energy generation and energy storage products. The company was incorporated in Delaware, United States on 1 July 2003.

In 2008, Tesla launched the Roadster in order to unveil Tesla’s cutting-edge battery technology and electric powertrain. Musk has stated that using the Lotus Elise chassis (which the 2008 Roadster was based on) was not the most efficient method of creating the company's first vehicle due to the volume of new parts required to turn the car into an electric vehicle.

Elon Musk's dream for Tesla was to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport. Consequently, on 12 June 2014, Tesla announced that it would not initiate patent lawsuits against anyone who, in good faith, wants to use its technology. While this may seem like a strange move, the more electric vehicles built using Tesla's technology, the greater the platform Tesla controls and the more reliant other manufacturers become on the company's survival.

Along with the company's focus on electric vehicles, Tesla has also invested heavily in creating sustainable production/storage of electricity, having released the Powerwall and building the Gigafactory (the highest volume battery manufacturing plant in the world). Along with these efforts, Tesla supplied the South Australian Government with a 52MWh storage battery after the state within Australia had been crippled from power outages.

Tesla is traded on the NASDAQ under the code TSLA.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
